Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an intermediate school located in Cantonment, FL. This contract role is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 28th. The position supports speech and language development in a school setting, working closely with students to address communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy plans for students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student progress and success. Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Participate in meetings and IEP development to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required. Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred. Consideration will be given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with relevant experience. Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the school team.
