Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Providing 1 on 1 care. Are you looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position that allows the opportunity for a flexible schedule, clinical autonomy and excellent pay? We believe that patients desire to have continuity of care with the same therapist through home health to outpatient therapy. Mobility Rehabilitation is a dynamic therapist-owned practice in Lake County Florida. We have 2 outpatient clinics in Clermont and provide home rehabilitation services (PT/OT/ST) throughout Lake County, Florida. We are currently looking for an excellent Speech Language Pathologist to work with our team performing outpatient home therapy and ALF visits in Lake County. The majority of the visits are in Clermont.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough evaluations of clients to determine speech, language, and communication disorders. Utilize standardized assessments, informal observations, and interviews to gather relevant information. Create customized treatment plans based on assessment results, client goals, and evidence-based practices. Set achievable and measurable objectives to track progress. Employ therapeutic techniques and modalities to target specific areas of need. Regularly assess and document client progress towards established goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and continuity of services. Offer guidance and support to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to facilitate improved communication outside of therapy sessions. Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and treatment approaches in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Valid state license/certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). CPR or BLS Certificate Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
