9592875-33841 Job Description Bring your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to a fulfilling contract role supporting early learners near Fort Meade, FL. This opportunity allows you to empower pre-K children to reach their communication milestones in a school-based setting. With a flexible schedule of 25 hours per week spread over 3-4 days, youll have the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong consideration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Experience with pediatric populations, especially early childhood/pre-K, is a plus Knowledge of school-based service delivery and IEP processes Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in pre-K students Create and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support each childs progress Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes Participate in IEP meetings and consult on best practices for language-rich learning environments This contract position begins in August 2026 and goes through May 2027, aligning with the school calendar and affording breaks for work-life balance.
