Job Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults. The SLP develops individualized treatment plans, provides therapy services, educates families and caregivers, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in care planning, team meetings, and discharge planning as needed. Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required, depending on the setting. Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Skills Knowledge of standardized assessment tools and evidence-based interventions. Experience with individualized treatment planning and family education. Ability to manage caseload efficiently and meet documentation deadlines. Bilingual skills are a plus.
