A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

5 days a week Swallowing & Speech Solutions is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time contract in a private school setting. This school-based SLP opportunity is perfect for someone who loves working with children, thrives in collaborative environments, and is ready to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Provide engaging speech and language therapy for students (K-12) Conduct evaluations, write reports, and update IEPs as needed Deliver individual and small group therapy sessions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Current Florida SLP license Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills What We Offer $55/hour 1099 Contractor Supportive, clinician-led team Streamlined contracting process — we handle the admin so you can focus on therapy Potential for renewal or future school placements through Swallowing & Speech Solutions Materials provided If you're an enthusiastic school-based SLP looking for a rewarding part-time contract , we'd love to hear from you!
