As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in pediatrics and early childhood, you'll have the chance to shape communication skills and support student success, working within a collaborative school-based environment. Caseloads can be tailored to your experience and preference, ranging from moderate to profound needs, allowing you to maximize your impact. Both local practitioners and travel professionals are welcomed. Your background in school-based SLP and passion for supporting children with diverse needs will make this position truly fulfilling. The school values your expertise and offers the flexibility to work with elementary, middle, or high school students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of Florida Experience in early childhood, pediatric, or school-based settings preferred Ability to manage a varied caseload, adapting interventions to meet student needs Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy Support communication and language development for students with a range of needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement Monitor progress, maintain records, and adjust interventions as needed ProCare Therapy provides an attractive compensation package with competitive weekly pay, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
