Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist and/or Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric and adult populations. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, including early intervention strategies for children. Deliver engaging therapy sessions via in-person or telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication skills. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care plans that support patient progress. Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized tools and clinical observations to inform diagnosis and treatment goals. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support ongoing speech development at home and in daily routines. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for patients with complex needs or disabilities. Support telehealth therapy initiatives by adapting techniques for virtual delivery while ensuring effective patient engagement. Experience Proven experience working with pediatric populations in early intervention programs or school settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy or language therapy across diverse age groups, including adults with speech impairments or geriatric patients. Hands-on experience implementing speech-language therapy plans for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Familiarity with comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessment tools. Prior work experience collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology relevant to clinical practice. Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions effectively while managing virtual platforms such as telehealth-specific software solutions. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately within EMR/EHR systems while maintaining detailed documentation standards.
