Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Miami Lakes, FL. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This role involves working with patients of all ages, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and implementing treatment plans to enhance communication abilities and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide therapy for speech and language impairments in children and adults. Work closely with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans. Educate patients and caregivers on strategies for improving communication and swallowing functions. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in speech therapy. Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Florida SLP License issued by the Florida Department of Health. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP preferred). Experience in adult speech therapy. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
