Key Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience or interest in working with a diverse caseload of PreK12 students, ranging from mild to moderate needs; specific location assignments may include intensive support environments with severe populations Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred Completion or verification of current Florida school district fingerprinting via the AHCA Clearinghouse Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each students specific needs and educational goals Maintain regular communication with families, teachers, and school teams Complete required documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner Support assigned campus, which will be determined based on your skills and caseload needs; schools may include elementary, middle, high school, or specialized centers
