Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school setting supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade, where your expertise in speech-language pathology will make a real impact. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to foster positive communication development within a single school environment serving approximately 75-80 students. If you're passionate about providing high-quality support, enjoy working across different grade levels, and thrive when collaborating with educators and families, you'll find this role especially rewarding. Both seasoned clinicians (SLP-CCC) and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) are encouraged to apply. Consideration is also given to talented SLPAs eager to contribute within the school system.
Qualifications:
Active or eligible state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY) Experience or strong interest in working with PK-8th grade students Open to SLPAs with a relevant background Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and collaborating with school staff
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative services to students in both individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain meticulous records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Provide insight and recommendations during team meetings regarding communication goals Embrace the chance to empower students to reach their communication potential while working in a supportive, single-campus environment.
