We are currently seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (1099) with the potential to quickly grow into a full-time role. Overview With Talking2Lips, you will make a meaningful impact on the communicative health of children in Southwest Florida. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, and fluency disorders — primarily serving children ages 2-12. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life through tailored therapy plans, early intervention strategies, and compassionate family-centered care. What you'll do Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using current clinical techniques. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each child's unique needs and goals. Deliver engaging therapy sessions focused on articulation, fluency, language development, voice quality, and AAC as needed. Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support patient progress and ensure cohesive care. Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development. What we're looking for Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Florida state licensure or certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior pediatric clinical or school-based experience highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders. Experience conducting patient assessments and designing effective therapy interventions for children. Passion for early intervention and a genuine dedication to family-centered care.
