Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language interventions to address diverse needs of clients
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on strategies for improving communication and swallowing function
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and technologies to enhance patient outcomes
  • Stay informed about advancements in speech-language pathology research and contribute to evidence-based practice
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge Requirements
  • Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to licensure requirements
Pay:
$60.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: North Miami Beach, FL 33160: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
