Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations Develop tailored therapy plans that address individual needs, goals, and developmental stages Deliver engaging therapy sessions for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs and school environments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as educators, physicians, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes Educate patients and their families on speech development techniques and strategies for ongoing improvement Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and pediatric development milestones Familiarity with physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions Ability to perform thorough patient assessments using medical terminology accurately Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to working with children and families Knowledge of early intervention practices to support developmental delays effectively Effective communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and educate families Join us in making a meaningful difference by helping individuals unlock their full communication potential!
