This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week spread across two vibrant school campuses. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required School-based SLP experience or enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to work across multiple sites with different age groups and caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students aged pre-K through middle school Independently manage caseloads of approximately 50 students at Buffalo Creek Middle (including low cognitive and behavior units) and collaborate at Prine Elementary with an SLP and SLPA on a broader caseload of around 95 students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Participate in team meetings and provide input on intervention strategies Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with teachers, families, and support staff This role offers a dynamic environment, professional growth, and supportive peers who are passionate about student development.
