Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist providing assessment and therapy services to students with communication disorders in Pensacola, Florida. This 36-week contract offers competitive hourly rates up to $65 and benefits that support professional growth and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language assessment and therapy to students with communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school activities Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students across different classrooms and settings

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution Must hold or be eligible for relevant state licensure and certifications for speech-language pathology Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-aged children, with strong caseload management skills Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) day shifts, comfortable with itinerant caseloads, and able to pass background checks Strong communication and organizational skills
