Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist position providing speech and language therapy to students in a school setting, located in Pensacola, FL. The role involves assessing communication needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. The contract spans 36 weeks with competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the school setting Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators and families to support student success Implement therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and school district regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or equivalent Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist State-specific credentials as required Minimum 1 year experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently within a school environment and collaborate with staff, students, and families Patience, empathy, strong organizational skills, and adaptability Physical ability to perform duties in a school setting Must pass background checks and drug screening
