9642500-34986 Job Description Exciting contract opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who want to make a difference in school settings near the Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce areas. These flexible positions offer part-time schedules (1421 hours per week) with the potential to combine roles for a full-time (35 hours/week) position, depending on your preference. Caseloads range from PreK through 8th grade, allowing you to work alongside supportive colleagues or as the sole SLP onsite, adapting your expertise to diverse student populations. Multiple openings mean you can partner with fellow professionals or focus on an individual school community.
What youll bring:
Active Florida SLP License (required) School-based SLP experience strongly preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively Flexibility to fulfill part-time or full-time schedules as needed Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including district fingerprinting requirements (prior AHCA fingerprints can be used) Readiness to report onsite for badge pick-up before your start date Responsibilities include: Managing a caseload in grades ranging from PreK or Kindergarten through 8th grade, depending on site placement Delivering a full scope of speech-language therapy services, including evaluations, direct therapy, and documentation Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress and success Supporting students communication needs in individual and group settings Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to IEP planning as required This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in public school communities, gain valuable experience, and enjoy flexible scheduling options.
