9666643-33570 Job Description Exciting opportunities await for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make an impact in student lives near Ruskin, FL! This full-time, onsite contract position provides the chance to support students in a dynamic school environment across two campusesBuffalo Creek Middle and Prine Elementary. Youll collaborate with dedicated professionals and play a vital role in specialized programs serving a diverse range of student needs, from low cognitive and behavioral units to integrated and ESE Pre-K classrooms.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50 students at Buffalo Creek, with additional consult responsibilities for about 10 students. Provide high-quality assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring for students from intensive PK to middle school settings at Prine, collaborating with a supportive therapy team. Implement IEPs and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements. Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering insights and recommendations to optimize student outcomes. Serve as a vital resource for teachers, staff, and families regarding student communication needs and supports.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active FL SLP License. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered. Experience working with PK-middle school students, including those with diverse learning profiles, is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. This position offers a reliable contract schedule with an immediate start and continues through the end of the 2026-27 school year.
