Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract Speech-Language Pathologist position for the upcoming school year, serving vibrant student populations in the Bradenton area. This opportunity offers full-time hours across an academic schedule, allowing you to provide critical support to students while collaborating with a dedicated educational team. Multiple positions are available, and on-site presence is required.
Qualifications:
Current Florida SLP License (Master's level required; CFY considered) Bachelor's qualifications may be considered for strong candidates Background in school-based speech-language pathology preferred Experience, or strong interest, in working with diverse pediatric populations Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and support students across different age groups Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Commitment to professional conduct and maintaining high standards of ethical practicePrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language services to students as assigned Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Complete required documentation, progress notes, and compliance reports promptly Participate in IEP meetings and school-team consultations Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with communication needsBenefits and Perks:
