Role:

This school-based SLP role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students across a school setting. The SLP will work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized student goals and improve overall communication outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license Florida Department of Education certification or eligibility as required

ASHA CCC-SLP

preferred Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Job Duties:

Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services to students Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support students with articulation, fluency, language, and pragmatic goals
