Starting at $50/hour (dependent on experience) Position Overview Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K 12 students in a school-based setting in Stuart, Florida (34994) for the upcoming academic year. We are actively seeking qualified SLPs who are passionate about helping students strengthen communication skills and achieve academic success. This opportunity offers flexibility with full-time preferred (part-time considered) and placement at 1 2 school sites , based on candidate preference and district needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K 12 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals . Provide direct therapy services through push-in and pull-out models based on student needs. Manage a caseload averaging 60 70 students (approximately 3, 600 4, 200 service minutes weekly). Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation. Participate in IEP meetings , staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to support communication, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication goals. Qualifications Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required. ASHA CCCs preferred (CF candidates may be considered depending on district needs). Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to effectively manage a diverse student caseload across grade levels. Work Environment K 12 school-based setting. Placement at 1 2 schools depending on district needs and candidate preference. Collaborative support from lead SLPs, educators, and school staff. Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling options.
