Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist, making a meaningful impact in early childhood education. This in-person position focuses exclusively on Pre-Kindergarten students, allowing you to put your expertise to work where it matters most—supporting young learners in their crucial early years.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Proven experience working with preschool-age children, preferably in a school-based setting Strong knowledge of communication disorders and effective intervention strategies for young learners Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff Ability to provide high-quality services on-site, with dependability and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to Pre-K students, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals Conduct evaluations and assessments for new referrals, interpreting results for caregivers and educators Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities to foster communication development Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, occupational therapists, and other professionals to maximize student progress Monitor, document, and report on student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records Consult with families, providing resources and strategies to support speech-language development at home
