Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Current SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Prior pediatric, early childhood, or K12 school-based SLP experience preferred Competence in assessing and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborative, adaptable approach to working with diverse teams and student needs Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with varying levels of need Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes Provide support and consultation for parents and staff regarding communication development Maintain accurate, compliant records and participate in IEP meetings
