9471330-30103 Job Description Step into a dynamic contract opportunity working with local schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this role, you'll have the chance to support a diverse group of students, help them achieve important communication milestones, and partner with dedicated educators to create nurturing, inclusive learning environments.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license, or eligibility for licensure Previous experience working with children or within school settings strongly preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff Skilled in assessment, developing treatment plans, and monitoring student progress Proficiency in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to identify students speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on student success Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services, both one-on-one and in groups Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for compliance and progress tracking Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other service providers for holistic student support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making Educate and empower family members and staff on best practices for supporting communication development This contract role offers the rewarding experience of making a difference in a school environment while enjoying professional flexibility.
