A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Atlanta is currently interviewing Speech-Language Pathologists for the upcoming school year. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school campuses, with most caseloads assigned to a single site. Both full-time and select part-time opportunities are available.Requirements:
Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License required Active Georgia Department of Education Certification required Must meet all district onboarding requirementsKey Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and compliant documentation Support students with communication, language, articulation, fluency, and social-pragmatic needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student successCredentialing Requirements:
