9440810-30523 Job Description Take the next meaningful step in your career as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the warm, welcoming communities of Habersham County. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a genuine difference for K5 students in specialized classrooms, focusing on those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and severe or profound needs. Youll collaborate closely with educators and support staff, playing a pivotal role in helping students find their voices and achieve their potential.
Key Qualifications:
Active Georgia SLP licensure required Active Georgia Educator Certificate required Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus Commitment to full onsite engagementvirtual work is not available for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in ASD and severe/profound classrooms Assess and monitor student progress; maintain ongoing documentation Participate in developing, writing, and reviewing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to support student success Complete required Medicaid billing and reporting Engage actively in school-based meetings and activities that benefit students and the broader classroom environment The position is available immediately and will run through the end of the current school year, with opportunities to extend into the 20252026 academic year. Both full-time schedules (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time options are considered, offering flexibility to fit your lifestyle and commitments.
