Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting serving K-5 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity offers an engaging role working within a supportive school environment near the beautiful Clarkesville area. As part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you'll help empower young learners to develop the essential communication skills theyll rely on for success in and beyond the classroom.
Desired qualifications:
Active Georgia SLP License Current GA Educator Certificate Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with school-aged children, especially in K-5 settings, is valued Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively and independently Comfort with planning and delivering both group and individual therapy sessions Key responsibilities: Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to K-5 students Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement IEPs in consultation with educators and families Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere to encourage student participation and growth Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation on time Youll enjoy highly competitive compensation with weekly pay, plus a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
