Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Columbus, GA Bilingual Therapies - 2.9 Columbus, GA Job Details Full-time | Contract 19 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Teaching Certification Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services within a public school district in Columbus, GA. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and extends through the 2026-2027 school year, offering flexible hours ranging from part-time to full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week). Caseload assignments will be tailored based on the candidate's experience and the specific needs of the district.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct speech and language therapy to students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall student success within the educational setting.Qualifications:
Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license. Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator certificate. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required. Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered. Experience working in school settings is strongly preferred. Must be available to work onsite; remote or virtual candidates will not be considered.Location:
