Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in a vibrant school setting for the upcoming new school year. This assignment begins in August and extends through October, providing a chance to make a significant impact during a critical start-of-year period. In this role, you'll utilize your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges among students. You will collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create individualized therapy plans that foster student growth and participation in the classroom. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred Experience or strong interest working in school environments Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficientlyKey Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans for students with speech and language needs Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services as mandated by IEPs Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Participate in meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team This opportunity allows you to play a vital role in students' academic and social success while expanding your professional skills in a supportive educational environment.
