9682886-30040 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in students lives as a dedicated speech-language pathologist in a supportive school environment near Cumming, GA. This contract position provides an opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to promote students academic and communication success. Your expertise will help children overcome speech and language challenges, enhancing their confidence and learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered Experience with school-age populations and IEP/504 plan processes Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Proficiency with evidence-based therapy and fluency in relevant assessment tools
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Deliver direct therapy in individual or group formats, according to each students IEP Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote educational success and generalization of skills Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and help guide the team on students speech-language needs Serve as a resource for educators and families to best support each childs communication goals Foster a positive, supportive environment that prioritizes student wellbeing and progress Enjoy the rewarding experience of seeing students grow and thrive through your professional skills and compassion.
