Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of young learners as a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist working in an elementary school setting. This is a contract position near Dallas, GA, supporting students' communication needs and collaborating closely with educators and families to help every child thrive.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active state SLP license (or eligibility) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome. Previous experience or strong interest in working within a school environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Compassion, creativity, and a passion for student-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, individualized, and group therapy services to elementary students with speech, language, and communication needs. Conduct speech and language assessments; develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success and provide classroom strategies. Maintain timely, accurate documentation in line with federal, state, and school district guidelines. Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment. Support students with diverse backgrounds and varying abilities, tailoring interventions accordingly. This role offers the chance to impact young lives each day in a supportive school community.
