Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students across multiple grade levels as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position near Dalton, GA. You'll have the opportunity to work in both an elementary setting (PreK-5) and 1-2 nearby secondary buildings, all conveniently located just minutes apart. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with PreK through secondary students Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
What You'll Do:
Conduct assessments and develop individual education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services Deliver direct therapy to a diverse caseload in both elementary and secondary school environments Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student communication goals Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative support as needed Adapt therapy techniques to meet the varied needs of your student population
