Desired Qualifications:

Current Georgia SLP license or GaPSC certification (one required to start, both needed ultimately) Open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLAs) with appropriate GaPSC certification Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical Fellowship equivalent ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows welcome Strong commitment to fostering student growth and achievement Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff and families

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students Conduct thorough evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on students needs Engage and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students communication development Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and school policies related to speech-language services This position offers a consistent 37.5 hour work week in a dynamic, student-focused school environment near Decatur, GA.
