Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication development in a dynamic school environment near Duluth, GA. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who hold both a GA SLP License and a GA Educator Certificate. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll work collaboratively with educators and families to help children achieve their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Active GA SLP License and GA Educator Certificate (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working in K-12 educational settings Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual learning needsRole Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students across assigned schools (locations to be determined over summer) Assess students' communication abilities and develop targeted, evidence-based IEP goals Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student plans Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, progress, and service delivery Deliver both individual and group therapy services Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language development The contract runs from July 28th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar for continuity of care and support.
