9081921-30643 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant on a full-time contract basis. In this impactful role, youll play a key part in helping students overcome communication challenges and unlock their full academic and social potential. With an immediate start, youll become a valued resource to students, families, and educational teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Associate's degree for SLPA Active state license and certification (SLP-CCC or SLPA credentials required) Previous experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school caseloads, is strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Ability to conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 612 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with student goals and state/federal guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, parents, and administrators Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student Offer consultation and support for classroom strategies to promote students communication skills Benefits of this
