Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within the school environment Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records, prepare necessary reports, and participate in IEP meetings Employ evidence-based practices and adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
