This contract position offers the opportunity to empower young learners with communication challenges. Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is highly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for supporting elementary-aged children Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy to students on an elementary caseload Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each students needs Document progress, participate in meetings, and maintain records according to school and legal standards Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student success in and out of the classroom Stay up to date on best practices and new developments in school-based speech-language services In this full-time, onsite role, youll engage with students and faculty throughout the school year, working on transformative interventions and seeing the results firsthand.
