Job Description

Step into a rewarding, collaborative environment supporting students communication and academic growth as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in educational settings located near Milledgeville, GA. Youll work with a diverse caseload, utilizing your expertise to assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges. Collaborating closely with educators, families, and other specialists, youll play a vital role in helping students meet their learning goals and reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates will also be considered Experience or interest in working with school-age children Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school staff and parents Provide therapy services that foster communication, academic, and functional skills Document progress and maintain records according to school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration This position is perfect for someone passionate about student-centered care and excited to work in an educational setting on a contract basis.
