Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school-based setting and have a profound impact on students' communication success. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to make a real difference throughout the academic year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you'll provide assessment, intervention, and support services to a diverse group of students. Help foster growth and confidence as you address a variety of speech and language needs, all while building meaningful relationships within the school community.
Qualifications:
Current Georgia SLP license Valid GaPSC teaching certificate Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work full-time, onsite (37.5 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language services to students as identified by IEPs Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation teams Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for optimal student progress Document services and maintain records in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required Why consider this opportunity?
