Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC. This on-site position is conveniently located near Smyrna, GA, and involves working at a single school site for the upcoming academic year, beginning August 4, 2026, and concluding May 26, 2027. This is a full-time role where you'll contribute to students' communication growth and collaborate within a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Georgia PSC certification (newly required) Current Georgia state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA Professional, up-to-date credentials Completion of required fingerprinting and drug screening Prior experience in school-based SLP roles, particularly with elementary and middle-grade populations, highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills SLPAs not considered for this role
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to students with varying needs Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans in a dynamic school setting Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Adapt therapy approaches to support caseload adjustments, as positions continue to shift Participate in meetings and contribute as an active member of the educational team Enjoy the chance to make a meaningful difference while advancing your career in a welcoming school community.
