A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Tired of the traffic to town but love working with infants and toddlers and their families? Come join us at Parent Child Development Center (PCDC) Ewa ! We're looking for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team serving infants and toddlers in a home-based setting. This role follows a Primary Service Provider / Coaching model , giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with families and empower them to support their child's development every day. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Conduct developmental evaluations (e.g., BDI 3rd edition, DAY-C 2nd edition) Develop individualized service plans, and set meaningful and functional goals Provide coaching and guidance to families in their natural environment Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner

Requirements:

A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Clinical Competence Certificate and Hawaii SLP License. Will also consider applicants seeking CFY. Require access to a car daily and proof of insurance and a valid driver's license Experience with infants and toddlers highly preferred. CF may be considered with related practicum experience.
