Job Summary Do you enjoy working with families with infants and toddlers in the home setting, on a supportive and collaborative team of developmental specialists? WCECS is seeking full-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide Early Intervention (EI) services to families with infants and toddlers (0-35 months) with developmental delays at the Parent Child Development Center Wahiawā location. The SLP must be available to provide in-person services and attend virtual sessions and meetings, and will be part of a multidisciplinary team using the Primary Service Provider approach and coaching model to work with families in the home setting.
Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and write reports Assist team with plan development Provide consultation and coaching to families and other team members Timely and accurate documentation Participate in team meetings Conduct in-person home visits Conduct tele-practice visits per client discretion RequirementsMaster's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university and eligibility to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year. PCDC is able to provide supervision to qualified SLP-CFY candidates. Driver's license, daily access to a car, and proof of vehicle insurance required.
The staff member will drive to and from the office, client homes, and community locations per client discretion, operate electronic and computing equipment, and use the Zoom videoconference platform for required meetings and tele-practice therapy sessions per client discretion. Preferred Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). Experience working with the pediatric population ages 0-35 months is highly preferred. Schedule Monday to Friday, generally 8am-4:30pm with occasional later afternoons or weekends required. Manage your schedule allowing for required deadlines, team and staff meetings, and training. Relocation Assistance Loan Candidates relocating to Oʻahu may be eligible for relocation assistance in the form of a loan of up to $2,000 (amount negotiable). Repayment is fulfilled through an agreed-upon period of employment with WCECS/PCDC, as outlined in the employee's employment agreement.
