In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients, supporting their communication development and improving their quality of life. Your expertise will help children overcome speech and language challenges, fostering growth through innovative therapy techniques, collaborative care, and family engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients while working within a supportive environment at a boutique private practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to identify speech, language, and communication impairments using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based practices for early intervention and ongoing treatment. Deliver engaging therapy sessions through various modalities, including in-person and telehealth platforms, to promote effective communication skills. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies and consistent progress. Implement therapy techniques focused on improving speech articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and fluency. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, session notes, and treatment plans within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to confidentiality standards.
