Overview We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with children ranging from early childhood through adolescence at our small boutique pediatric private practice! The ideal candidate will be dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. Therapy will take place in our dedicated office space with access to toys and assessment materials. Key responsibilities will include providing speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients with a variety of speech and language disorders, including speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication difficulties, and pediatric feeding disorders. Start date is flexible. We are looking for someone with availability on Fridays or Mondays, either all day or only afterschool times. Opportunity to grow to a full time position if desired. Responsibilities Parent education and counseling regarding speech and language disorders Providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Documentation of daily SOAP notes, quarterly progress notes, and evaluation reports Communicate with families regarding scheduling and cancellations Qualifications License to practice in the state of Iowa as a speech-language pathologist CCC not required Feeding experience strongly preferred, but not required Experience working with pediatric clients, especially in a private practice setting, is preferred
