A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Kaleidoscope Pediatric Therapy is seeking a full-time licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team of skilled and caring therapists. We are looking for someone who is fun, energetic, a team player, and is passionate about serving the pediatric population and their families. Kaleidoscope Pediatric Therapy is a therapist owned company in Boise, Idaho providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, in one location to children birth to 18 years in the Treasure Valley. We believe that the highest quality of care is achieved through a comprehensive approach in which parents and families play an integral part of their child's therapy and growth. Our 6000 sq. ft. clinic features a variety of treatment materials and equipment to meet children's motor, sensory, and developmental needs. Kaleidoscope Pediatric Therapy also provides aquatic therapy services to children who qualify for the program. KPT holds a contract with the Idaho Infant Toddler Program to provide home based therapy services for children birth to age three and we contract with local schools to provide school-based, and pre-school therapy services. Responsibilities and expectations include:
Evaluation and treatment of a variety of disorders and delays Completing documentation accurately and efficiently Collaborating with other clinicians Communicating tactfully and professionally with families, colleagues, and other medical professionals Knowledge of feeding and swallowing disorders and AAC technology preferred, but not required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required CF supervision available Kaleidoscope Pediatric Therapy offers a detailed benefits package.
