A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Current SP License in the state of ID with 1-year experience. Initiative diagnostic, preventive and rehabilitative procedures as appropriate for adults with speech, language and swallowing disorders. Ability to Create a Plan of Care by evaluation and assessment of patient's levels of functionality; and maintain continuity of and or multidisciplinary services whenever needed to ensure good coordination of care. Highly Motivated with Passion for working with the senior population and the ability to blend healthcare and hospitality service philosophies. Timely Documentation according to state, federal and organizational guidelines. Dependable, Good communication and Organizational Skills. Ability to work alone and as a team member. Participation in Staff meetings, and In-Service Reviews.
Requirements:
Active Speech Therapy License in the state of ID. Dependable Transportation, Current Driver's License and auto Insurance. Current CPR Ability to perform the physical aspects of the position. TB testing.

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
