Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment near Coeur d'Alene, ID, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a lasting difference for elementary students. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to support young learners across two elementary school sites, with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students. As a valued member of the school's multidisciplinary team, you will help shape communication and language development, empowering students to reach their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to the start date Demonstrated experience providing speech and language therapy within a school setting (elementary school experience preferred) Proficiency in a variety of service delivery models, including in-person therapy Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt across two different school communities

Role and Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students across two school campuses Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic student support Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required Serve as a resource for staff and families on speech, language, and communication topics Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for all students in your care This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, working 7 to 8 hours per day over 4 to 5 days per week.
