Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting student success in a collaborative school environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC). This opportunity is ideal for a passionate professional ready to make a substantial difference, working 2.5 days (20 hours) per week. The position is for the upcoming school year and is urgently needed, as it has remained open all year. You'll join an experienced team with four on-site SLPs, offering support and shared expertise. While details on the caseload are forthcoming, you'll enjoy a supportive setting eager to welcome a new team member.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Strong collaborative and communication skills Previous experience in school-based settings preferred but not mandatory Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Eagerness and flexibility to fill a crucial, time-sensitive opening
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop and implement effective treatment strategies Collaborate closely with the existing SLP team, teachers, and administrators Complete relevant documentation, IEPs, and progress reports in a timely manner Provide direct therapy and consultative services per case requirements Engage with families and staff to support each student's overall growth and achievement This is a unique chance to become the difference-maker your colleagues and students have been waiting for.
