9608434-83644 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners by providing speech-language services in both elementary (K-5) and preschool settings. Were seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who is ready to offer their expertise on a contract basis while a valued team member is on maternity leave this upcoming December. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, tailoring interventions to a diverse group of students, and contributing to their academic and social growth.
Key Qualifications:
Current SLP license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required. Proven experience delivering therapy services to PreK-5 students. Confidence in writing and facilitating IEP meetings with families and team members. Strong background in conducting comprehensive assessments for eligibility. Adaptable communication skills to partner with parents, educators, and other specialists. Passion for creating and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool and elementary-aged students. Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility and needs. Facilitate and document IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and effective collaboration. Collaborate with professionals and caregivers to create supportive learning environments.
