Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students with speech and language needs in a welcoming educational environment near Aurora, Illinois. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to tailor your schedule to your availability. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2026, providing a long-term opportunity to make a meaningful difference. As a valued member of the school-based team, you'll work with a dynamic high school caseload. Full-time caseloads may reach up to 60 students, with an anticipated initial count of around 30 students, ensuring manageable and impactful service delivery. Daily staff hours run from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM, supporting your work-life balance.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current, active IL SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) School-based SLP experience preferred, especially in secondary settings Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to inclusive, student-focused practices Must be able to provide verification of credentials via Illinois State Board of Education educator search
